| 'Heavenly Blue' is the variety most people picture when they think of Morning Glories. Intensely blue and very abundant, the soft blooms bedazzle wherever they arise, offering soft color on a vigorous, dense, carefree vine. The cheery white eye adds to the appeal of these blooms, which swirl open in the morning and then close again in afternoon. Perfect for covering unsightly buildings, tumbling over fences, or decorating any vertical garden structure from the mailbox to the lamppost, 'Heavenly Blue' blooms over a very long summer and fall season and is pest free. Morning Glory is a breeze to direct-sow, but if you want even earlier blooms, start the seeds ahead indoors. It can tolerate a bit of shade -- though blazing sun is its preference -- and is especially useful in dry soils, where other plants have not been content. It climbs to about 6 feet. Pkt is 50 seeds. Cannot ship any Morning Glory to AZ. |
