| There is something very rewarding in the rapid, carefree growth of this handsome Ornamental Banana. Just set it outdoors in bright sun in early summer, and by fall it will have shot up as much as 10 feet with lush-long leaves that add a tropical note to the patio, poolside, or entryway. Just plant these seed and before long leaves will begin to unfurl from the thick trunk. The new foliage is long, waxy, and bright green, often edged in red or white when young.
