'Lime' is a luscious chartreuse to pale green variety, the only solid color in the Versa series and the one that pairs perfectly with every other variety! You'll find it indispensable as a companion to all other plants, its unusual shade of green contrasting beautifully with every other color from yellow to red!
This plant reaches about 28 inches high and spreads up to 24 inches wide. As with all Coleus, it makes a splendid houseplant as well as an outdoor choice, and is adaptable to garden or container.
'Lime' will eventually flower, but the bloomstalks can be pinched off at once to avoid detracting from the beauty of the foliage. (They make good filler in large bouquets.) Expect it to continue its vigorous, healthy growth all summer and until the first hard frost of fall. Indoors it's colorful year-round, either in bright or indirect light. All this Coleus asks is well-drained soil; it dislikes too much fertilizer, making it even easier to keep up with!
