| A Park Exclusive! 76 days from setting out transplants. Determinate. Give 'em the old razzle dazzle with the most exciting Tomato to come along in a month of Sundays! Park's Razzleberry Hybrid is a dark pink variety with a super sweet, mild flavor the whole family will love. But the best part is its texture. Instead of being meaty, mealy, chewy, or otherwise less than perfect, it is silky smooth. The fruit literally seems to melt in your mouth, leaving only juicy-sweet goodness! These 6- to 7-ounce fruits are simply on a different plane from just about every other Tomato I've ever grown, and it all has to do with their texture. They hold together beautifully, making such appealing slices and wedges you'll become a "plate artist" every time you serve them! -- but once they reach your mouth, they dissolve into a silky deliciousness you just can't get enough of! Consistently ranked at the top of our taste tests, Razzleberry in one smooth operator! The other great merit of this Tomato may surprise you. With such a fine, gourmet look and consistency, you might expect the plant to need a little extra coddling or perhaps to be sparing with its bounty. NOT AT ALL. This is one of the most vigorous, strong-stemmed Tomatoes I've ever grown (and I think I've probably grown them all!). Last summer I potted up some and grew them on the deck so I could watch them up close, and do you know they just took over that deck, growing like nobody's business and so strong-stemmed I had to double up on my twist-ties when staking them! Once they began producing, though, I understood what all the brute strength was about -- Razzleberry bears HEAVILY, and I mean heavily, over a good summer season. This is a determinate plant, with excellent resistance to Verticillium Wilt and Fusarium Wilt races 1 and 2. It reaches 4 to 5 feet high and about 2 feet wide, producing abundant amounts of fruit in midsummer. Find a place of honor for this dazzling beauty today! Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Plant outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees F. If an unexpected late frost is forecasted, protect the young plants with plastic sheeting or other cover. Set plants 2 to 2½ feet apart. Pkt is 20 seeds. |
