Bursting with fully double, formal flowers in 5 soft colors -- including plenty of picotees and bicolors among the solids -- this formula mix is by far the most exciting tuberous Begonia from seed we have ever seen for hanging baskets! The 3-inch blooms are so elegant, in glowing warm tones of pink, red, salmon, yellow, and white. And they tumble over the sides of containers on plants that cascade up to 2 feet long! Best in partial shade, this Begonia blooms in April from a late-fall planting. It is early-flowering and resistant to mildew, resulting in larger plants with a slightly longer season of bloom than others. And such blooms! At the end of the season, dig up this plant and harvest the tuber. You can then replant it for another season of rich, mellow bloom. For a 10- or 12-inch basket, plant about 5 seeds. Pkt is 50 seeds.
