Plant Patent #18,803. Super-floriferous, long-blooming, AND fully double, this Coneflower has it all! The merry pompons open bubblegum pink, then mature to a vintage shade of mauve over their long period of flowering. If you love Coneflowers in the garden or vase, this is the variety you MUST try! This plant blooms from 8 to 12 weeks in summer, setting new buds even more quickly if blooms are cut or deadheaded promptly. The flowers arise on straight, thick, very sturdy stems, which keep them fresher over a long time, even after cutting. And such blooms they are! An outer layer of long, widely-spaced pink petals supports a giant, frilly pompon of shorter petals above. Very showy! The plant itself is quite compact, reaching 18 to 24 inches high and wide in any sunny, well-drained soil. Like all Coneflowers, it is very adaptable to stress, tolerating everything from poor soil to heat, humidity, cold, and even drought.
