Coreopsis 'Sweet Dreams' PP#12,720
Coreopsis rosea 'Sweet Dreams' PP#12,720
Coreopsis 'Sweet Dreams' PP#12,720: Single 1½-inch blooms of white and pink, shaped like daisies, on slender stems.
Makes a good cover-up for dying spring bulb foliage, then blooms all summer!

Big Blooms with a Whole New Look!
A floriferous two-tone Coreopsis that blooms all summer!

The item form was incorrectly printed in the catalog as a Gallon. This item ships in a 4" pot. The price has been reduced accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Plant Patent #12,720.

Who says there's nothing new under the sun? This charming Coreopsis sports an entirely fresh look -- bicolor blooms of white and raspberry-pink, one-third larger than most other Coreopsis flowers! Yet it's just as hardy as its plainer cousins, blooming like crazy early summer until the cool weather of fall.

'Sweet Dreams' is simply a delight, with 1½-inch white-to-pink blooms that shade to raspberry at the center. In the hottest summer weather, the blooms will show more white and pink; in the cooler temperatures of early and late season, they will glow with deeper carmine accents. Expect them all summer long on clumping plants just 2 feet high and wide!

As adaptable to containers and hanging baskets as it is to the sunny bed or border, 'Sweet Dreams' is a fine presence in the bulb garden too -- in spring its emerging leaves help mask the dying Daffodil foliage, and in summer it forms a carefree carpet of color from which Lily, and other flowering bulbs spring up!

A hardy native American perennial, Coreopsis requires almost no work to stay fresh and in great shape. The foliage is very finely cut, adding a soft, fuzzy look to the garden, and combining well with all your heat-loving summer bloomers. Wonderfully impervious to humidity and cold as well as heat, 'Sweet Dreams' is a tough customer that only looks dainty!

Developed by breeder Mark Leonard of Loomis, California, 'Sweet Dreams' deserves a focal point in garden and container. Celebrate this new color scheme in Coreopsis with a large planting, and be rewarded with carefree "daisies" for months on end! Zones 4-8.
