Drought-Resistant Collection

Drought-Resistant Collection:
These tough-as-nails perennials can take all the hot, dry weather Nature throws at them!

A $32.85 Value! Sparse Rainfall? Dry Soil? -- No Problem!
Contains 1 each of 'Venice,' 'Full Moon,' and 'Gay Butterflies'

Today's gardens have to be more water-conscious than ever, what with drought conditions, water restrictions, and summers that seem to get a little longer and drier every year! Luckily, the 3 varieties in this collection are made just for hot, dry soil -- the sort of planting conditions that cause lesser perennials to curl up their roots and die! Pamper them well the first year to get their root systems established, and these hardy sun-lovers will reward you with years of carefree beauty!

This collection is a $32.85 Value!

Here's what you get (1 plant of each, for a total of 3):

This collection is comprised of 3 components.

Butterfly Plant 'Gay Butterflies'
41052. One of the finest native plants we know, Butterfly Weed is a must-have for any dry, sunny location, and this mix of jewel-bright shades of red, orange, and yellow is the most spectacular combination yet!'Gay Butterflies' is exactly what its name suggests -- warm-toned, light-hearted, lively color from early summer right up till frost. The plant reaches just 2 feet tall and wide, so you can dot it among other heat-loving perennials or plant a wide swathe of festive color! It withstands just about anything except soggy soil, so resist the temptation to plant it alongside Yarrow. 'Gay Butterflies' is a tough cookie that sneers at lousy fertility, weeks of blazing heat, and long dry spells! So plant a big stand of this American charmer, dust off the binoculars, and get ready to start identifying Monarchs and Fritillaries by the dozen! Zones 3-9.
Qty 1 3-inch Pot. Zones 3 - 9.

Coreopsis 'Full Moon' PPAF
49924. PPAF. Every garden deserves this Threadleaf Coreopsis, which sets large, luminous 3-inch blooms by the many hundred on easy-to-grow, very long-lived plants. Set above ferny green foliage, the pale yellow blooms really pop out in the late afternoon and evening light, glowing to extend your garden's beauty well into night. Drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, free of pests and disease, and adaptable to environmental stresses of many kinds, this native American perennial is a sure-fire success in well-drained soil receiving full sun. Reaches 18 to 24 inches high and wide. Zones 4-8.
Qty 1 3-inch Pot. Zones 4 - 8.

Astrantia 'Venice' PP#18,420
41867. PP18420. No other Astrantia in the world can equal the bloom strength of this delightful purply-red dynamo! Expect a single plant to bring you more than 600 blooms over its long season -- a staggering number for any perennial, but amazing from this compact but very vigorous Dutch introduction. Standing up to wind, rain, and unseasonable heat, 'Venice' is ready to become the workhorse of the sunny garden! It reaches 22 inches tall and 13 inches wide in full sun, flowering from late spring into early summer. Zones 6-9.
Qty 1 Bareroot. Zones 6 - 9.
