Delphinium 'Magic Fountains Mix'

All the rich blues, purples, roses, and creams of mini 'Magic Fountains'! This mix contains the full color range of this popular series, which never needs staking and has a floriferous, hardy nature. The bloomstalks are about a foot long atop 24- to 28-inch plants, with flowers crowded all long the spike for a very bushy, colorful effect. The only choice for the front of the border or for smaller gardens, where vertical color without too much height is appreciated! 'Magic Fountains' blooms in early to midsummer.

Stokes's Aster 'Peachie's Pick'

After the taller, earlier Stokes's Asters have bloomed their best, 'Peachie's Pick' erupts into rich blue color that fills the midsummer garden and patio containers! Just a foot high and not much wider, this neat little dwarf blooms its head off during the dog days of July and August, when many plants are too hot to show much color! It's quite a hardy performer in just about any hot, humid climate -- as well as less extreme temperatures all the way north through zone 5. Unlike some Stokes's Asters, 'Peachie's Pick' won't flop or droop; these cheery daisies keep their faces lifted to the sun! Stokes's Aster is a native American plant, so it's largely untroubled by pests and diseases. Eager to grow in just about any garden soil, it thrives in full sun to part shade.

Bellflower 'Summertime Blues' PPAF

PPAF. Large silvery-blue bells fill the garden over 3 seasons on this amazing new variety. Though the foliage is less than a foot high, the flowers appear on sturdy 2-foot stems that just won't quit, month after month. It won't set seed or get out of hand, and deer leave this plant alone, making it a good choice even for meadow or open settings. Yet it's also formal enough for containers or the sunny border. You must grow 'Summertime Blues' for yourself to believe the bloom power of this 10-inch-high, 17-inch-wide sunlover!
