Dillion is a small, compact, organic lettuce with dense, uniform heads that have a creamy interior wrapped in small-ribbed dark green outer leaves. It has crisp, sharp flavor; nice crunchy texture; and good water content—the perfect lettuce for a burger, a sandwich, or a refreshing salad on a hot summer's day.

This variety thrives in sun and heat and produces its largest heads in the hot weather of late summer and early fall. But it matures quickly and can be planted in intervals to keep a fresh crop coming all season.

Iceberg lettuce provides significant amounts of vitamins A and K, smaller amounts of vitamin C and folate, as well as some calcium and potassium.
