Romantica Norma Petunia is a member of the Romantica series. Romantica petunias are all male petunias. These sterile petunias bloom earlier and keep flowering non-stop from late spring until fall. Their remarkable branching on short internodes ensures an abundance of blossoms all season long.
A multiflora petunia, Romantica Norma sets small 2-inch frilly flowers in a creamy hue with plum contrasts, with extreme variations on the same plant and subtle color changes as the temperatures fluctuate and flowers age.
Norma petunias are well-branched and have a compact, mounded habit. They fit perfectly in patio pots, window boxes, and hanging baskets. Petunias can also be used as edging or ground cover in beds and borders; and planted in the vegetable garden, they repel asparagus beetles, leafhoppers, tomato worms, a range of aphids, and many other pests.
Petunias grow easily in sunny to lightly shady spots with average, medium moist, freely draining soil. Romantica Norma petunias thrive in temperatures between 41 to 104°F, having improved frost and heat tolerance. They also tolerate light rain and recover amazingly well after heavy rain.
