Malus spp. Scarlet Sentinel™ is exceptionally disease-resistant and exceptionally productive, yielding very large, handsome fruit of red with greenish-yellow shoulders and white flesh. The crisp, sweet flavor of this Columnar Apple is invigorating.

Selected for its upright growth habit, hardiness, disease resistance, and outstanding fruit quality, this British Columbian cultivar is delicious as well as ornamental. The mid-season harvest is very generous despite the miniature form.

If left unpruned, these strong, vigorous trees eventually reach 8 to 10 feet tall and 3 feet wide; if pruned for smaller stature, they produce upright branches. Scarlet Sentinel™ pollinates with any other nearby Malus, columnar or traditional.

Ideal for container on the patio or deck, it is also excellent small-space subject in the garden. We offer only top quality, field grown stock. Zones 4-8.
