The microclover naturally fertilizes the soil, reducing the need for synthetic inputs while crowding out weeds. Whether you're transitioning away from traditional grass or starting fresh, EcoEase Microclover and Fescue Lawn Mix offers a greener path forward.
To establish a healthy lawn, broadcast the seed evenly over prepared soil or existing turf in early spring or fall. For new lawns, loosen soil to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. For overseeding, mow existing grass short and rake to expose the soil surface. Water daily until germination, then reduce frequency as roots develop. With minimal mowing and no need for chemical fertilizers, ongoing care is simple and environmentally friendly. Pollinators are attracted to the clover if not mowed and allowed to bloom.
EcoEase Microclover and Fescue Lawn Mix performs best in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to a variety of soil types, including low-fertility soils. The microclover component stays green even during dry spells, while the fescues hold strong in cooler conditions, offering year-round visual appeal. Ideal sowing times are early spring or early fall when soil temperatures are between 50 to 65°F.
