Kirengeshoma palmata

Kirengeshoma palmate, commonly known as Yellow Waxed Bells, is highly sought after, being one of the more interesting and dramatic editions to the shade garden.

A late bloomer, the bell-like flowers appear in midsummer to fall, dangling from erect, purple branches. The striking blooms are funnel-shaped, rarely open fully, and reach 1 to 2 inches long.
