'Karl Foster' is the first ornamental grass to receive the Perennial Plant of the Year Award in 2001 and now you can have it for your garden. It earned it's award for it's good looks, long lasting plumes, and undemanding growing requirements. It's green foliage grows in a neat clump. During the spring the stalks can rise up to six feet and are capped iwth elongated, wheat colored seed heads.
