Description / Petite Jenny
Precious, adorable, darling, we could go on and on about all the ways Petite Jenny delights us! Its tiny pink powderpuff blossoms are so delicate and lovely they look more like rosettes of icing on a cake than actual living flora. Don't let its tiny soft petals fool you though, these flowers have a built in toughness against the worst of nature's pressures. They tolerate deer and all kinds of soil from normal to sandy to clay. This variety grows upright on deep green foliage that further emphasizes the gentle color of the blooms and it does best in full to partial sunlight. A mass of Petite Jenny is quite a sight in the landscape, though it struts its stuff just as well in containers and truly shines among showier flowers in a bouquet.
