Description / Nerium Ole!® Bicolor Red Oleander
A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Ole!® Bicolor Red Oleander brings bold color and fine textured evergreen foliage to sunny landscapes. Clusters of ruffled blooms combine vivid dark pink petals with striking white striping, creating an artistic bicolor display that stands out from summer through the season. The flowers are held above long narrow evergreen leaves, providing color and texture even when plants are not in bloom.
This low maintenance shrub thrives in challenging conditions where many flowering plants struggle. Blooming on new wood, Ole!® Bicolor Red delivers dependable seasonal color while tolerating heat, drought, and poor soils once established. Its smaller mature size makes it more garden friendly than traditional oleanders and well suited for containers, flowering hedges, borders, mass plantings, and rock gardens.
Hardy in Zones 8 to 11, Ole!® Bicolor Red grows best in full sun and well drained soil. Plants mature to approximately 4 to 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide with an upright habit and flexible stems. Avoid overwatering, as plants perform best in drier conditions once established. CAUTION: All plant parts are toxic if ingested and sap may irritate skin. Wear gloves when pruning or handling.
