Description / Rosa Flavorette™ Honey-Apricot Rose
A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Rosa Flavorette™ Honey-Apricot rose is a deciduous perennial shrub offering three seasons of interest. Long and continuously blooming, this rose sets lush, full, orange-hued flowers from early summer to fall, often through first frost. The flowers are edible, with petals having a sweet, fruity flavor that add a unique flavor to sweets, salads, and infusions. Borne in clusters, the fragrant flowers repeat rapidly, attract bees and butterflies to the garden, and make lovely bouquets or additions to floral arrangements.
Flavorette Honey-Apricot rose has vigorous growth and a compact, upright habit of medium green foliage. A striking specimen plant, this rose works well in a planter but is shown to best effect when massed or grouped in beds and borders.
Cold hardy to Zone 4, easy to grow and maintain, Flavorette Honey-Apricot rose grows best in sunny locations with average, moist, well-draining soil. Deadheading is not required for continuous bloom.
