Description / Mosquito Barrier® Natural Mosquito Repellent Concentrate 32 oz.
Made in USA
For generations, gardeners have used garlic to repel pests, and Mosquito Barrier delivers that same natural power in an ultra-concentrated formula. Made from 99.3% pure garlic extract, this strong liquid spray is derived from a special strain of "super garlic" that's far more potent than what you'll find at the grocery store. With no harmful chemicals, it's safe for kids, pets, and even water sources like ponds and streams. Plus, it won't harm pollinators like bees, butterflies, or ladybugs.
Garlic Barrier doesn't just repel mosquitoesit helps keep ticks, fleas, gnats, and fire ants at bay too. It works by coating grass, shrubs, flowers, and tree trunks with natural sulfur compounds, creating a scent barrier that insects can't tolerate. Resident mosquitoes are eliminated when the garlic oils clog their airways, while larvae in standing water suffocate under a natural oil coating, especially when mixed with canola oil. Although the scent is undetectable to humans, it keeps new mosquitoes from entering your space.
To use, dilute at a 100:1 ratio. One quart covers about 1.25 acres (54,450 square feet). Reapply three to four times during the season, or as needed.
For best results, cut tall grass before spraying. Use a canister or hose-end sprayer to coat lawns, flowers, shrubs, tree trunks, and fence posts (up to six feet high to deter ticks). Apply only to dry foliage and avoid watering or rainfall for 48 hours after spraying. To protect pollinators, spray at sundown when bees and butterflies are inactive.
