Description / Astilbe Younique White™
Plant Patent #19845.
The Younique White Astilbe begins with dark green foliage that eventually turns into a cluster of white cotton-like flowers. The plant is also extremely heat and drought resistant, making it the ideal flower variety for those who live in deserts. The entire plant grows just as wide as it does tall, measuring out to 15 inches. Blooms will appear in early to mid summer. Although the variety is very heat and drought tolerant, it does best in part shade and rich soil, along with frequent watering. Applying moisture to the blooms seems to make them mature brighter and bigger. Anyone in zones 3-8 can grow this variety. Zones 3 to 8.
