This compact blueberry bush grows to just 3 feet tall and wide, with dense, boxwood-like foliage that fits beautifully into formal or informal garden settings. In late spring, Blueberry Bux® offers delicate white blooms that develop into small, aromatic berries with a wild flavor profile. It's self-pollinating, so no companion plant is required. With 600 chill hours and exceptional tolerance to heat and humidity, it thrives in zones 5 to 8 when planted in acidic soil (pH 4.5-5.5) and full sun. It needs minimal pruning and rewards gardeners with a midseason summer harvest.
This young plant, bare root liner, is the easiest and most efficient way to plant your very own berry patch! In the first year, remove any flowers to help the plant focus on root and cane development. Expect a light crop in the second year and full yields by year three.
