This determinate variety produces bright-red, plum-shaped fruits that are meaty, low in moisture, and packed with flavor. Each fruit averages 4 to 6 ounces and is borne on compact, tidy plants that reach about 3 to 4 feet tall, making them ideal for raised beds, containers, or smaller garden spaces. Since Saucy Lady™ is a determinate variety, it bears fruit within a short window, making it an excellent choice for canning or freezing.

Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Plant outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
