    Caladium 'Pearl Blush' is a tender perennial, summer flowering bulb, grown for its dramatic, long-lasting foliage that adds color and texture to the garden, summer into fall. A strap leaf caladium, 'Pearl Blush' has larger leaves than standard strap leaf varieties. The wide, ruffled-edged leaves, on short petioles, have a light green base, a narrow dark green margin, and a rosy pink heart. Young leaves have a pink flush that turns white as they mature.

    Caladium 'Pearl Blush' has a clumping habit. It performs well in beds, borders, and containers, indoors or outdoors. It's also an excellent option for an underplanting.

    Extremely easy to grow, caladiums thrive in warm temperatures with high humidity. 'Pearl Blush' grows best in a sunny to dappled sun location with fertile, organically rich, consistently moist, well-draining soil, having an acidic pH. The plant benefits from monthly fertilization. It has better sun tolerance than most.
