Description / Trixi® Who Knew Orleans
Bring the festive atmosphere of the Big Easy right onto your patio or deck with Trixi® Who Knew Orleans! This combination of 9 plants is ready to keep your sunny landscape overflowing with bright color and winged visitors from late spring until well into fall . . . no matter what tricks the weather decides to play!
Trixi® Who Knew Orleans combines Petunia Headliner™ Red, Verbena Lascar™ Mango Orange, and Calibrachoa MiniFamous® Uno Yellow + Red Vein. Not only are these 3 of the longest-bloomning, easiest-care annuals you can grow in full sun, they also play off one another's strengths. The Petunia offers large, velvety red blooms, standouts in any setting. The Verbena sets nosegays of pinky-rosy-orange, the eye of each tiny flower contrasting with the petals, and dozens of blooms in every large cluster. And the Calibrachoa (mini petunia) offers breathtaking small blooms of soft yellow with a rosy-red tracery.
These annuals stand up to heat, humidity, and periods of drought beautifully. They attract butterflies and hummingbirds into the garden, and don't mind the late-afternoon thundershowers of many climates. You will find them as fresh in late August as they were in May, and in mild areas, they will just keep going through much of fall! Enjoy this exceptional combination, and let the good times roll!
