Vaccinium Bushel and Berry® Peach Sorbet® Self-Pollinating Blueberry
Vaccinium Bushel and Berry® Peach Sorbet® Self-Pollinating Blueberry brings year-round color and flavor to gardens and containers alike. This compact variety reaches just 2 feet tall and wide, but it makes a big impression with multi-season interest and tropical-tasting fruit.
In spring, the plant emerges with vibrant new foliage in shades of peach, pink, orange, and emerald green. White, bell-shaped flowers appear soon after, giving way to an abundant crop of sweet blueberries by summer. In mild climates, the evergreen leaves turn a rich eggplant purple in winter, offering continued garden appeal even in the off-season.
Perfect for small spaces and decorative containers, Peach Sorbet® thrives in full sun and acidic, well-drained soil (pH 4.5 to 5.5). It is self-pollinating and performs reliably in Zones 5 to 10 with very low chill hour requirements (300 or fewer).
This young plant, bare root liner, is the easiest and most efficient way to plant your very own berry patch! During the first growing season, remove flowers to help the plant establish a strong root system. In the second year, a light crop may appear, with more substantial harvests in future seasons as the plant matures.
Peach Sorbet® is easy-care and highly ornamental, combining colorful foliage, delicious fruit, and a tidy habit that makes it ideal for edible landscaping or patio displays.
