Description / 'Zinderella Fizz' Zinnia Seeds
A member of the Zinderella series, 'Zinderella Fizz' zinnia is a half-hardy annual that blooms heavily from midsummer through fall, typically to first frost. Extremely heavy blooming, 'Zinderella Fizz' continuously sets 2- to 4-inch globe-shaped double flowers set atop 25- to 30-inch stems. Uniquely colored, the bi-color, frilly crested double-scabiosa blooms exhibit shades of strawberry and pink with a dark contrasting center. Borne singly at the end of a stem, the nectar-rich flowers lure butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and other beneficial pollinators to the garden. The dramatic dahlialike blooms make beautiful, long-lasting cuts for bouquets, bright garnishes for salads, and lovely everlastings.
A Zinnia elegans species, commonly called zinnia, 'Zinderella Fizz' has a dense, upright, mounding habit and a fast growth rate.
