Exuberant Koi Blend includes Gladiolus spp. varieties, also known as gladiolus, glads, or sword lilies, that are tender perennials in Zones 7-10. For maximum impact, plant them in groups or clusters in borders, beds, containers, or cutting gardens. These glads are also a great choice for rock gardens. Taller plants may need staking in windy areas for added support.
These gladiolus are low-maintenance and thrive in sunny to lightly shaded areas with nutrient-rich, well-draining soil. For sandy or clay-heavy soils, enrich with organic materials like bark or peat moss to improve drainage and moisture retention.
