Description / Caladium Limelite Bulbs
Caladium Limelite is a fancy leaf caladium with luminous, heart shaped leaves in chartreuse and lime green, sprinkled with blush pink speckles. As the season goes on, the foliage may fade to pale yellow or nearly white, adding soft, glowing tones to the planting. Plants grow about 14 to 24 inches tall and keep their colorful foliage from summer until frost. This pack includes 5 caladium bulbs.
Limelite brings bright, cheerful color to shady areas where it can be hard to grow flowers. Its glowing lime leaves stand out against darker foliage and help light up shaded beds and containers. Introduced around the 2024 season, this caladium is a fresh choice for gardeners looking for something new in foliage color.
Grow Limelite in partial shade to full shade; it tolerates more sun when the light is filtered. Plant tubers after all danger of frost has passed, once soil temperatures reach at least 65 degrees F. Hardy in Zones 9 to 10, tubers should be lifted after the first killing frost in colder areas and stored until the next season. Luminous chartreuse leaves with pink speckles make Limelite a bright and distinctive addition to shady gardens from summer to frost.
