Description / Narcissus Waltz Daffodil Bulbs
Pack of 5 Bulbs
Plant Narcissus Waltz bulbs, a Split Corona variety, in early to mid fall, and in mid spring this spring ephemeral blooms in open-faced flowers with a frilly, peachy-apricot split corona set against white petals. Borne singly on long, slender stems, the fragrant blooms attract bees to the garden and make charming cuts for seasonal bouquets.
A Narcissus hybrid, commonly called daffodil, Narcissus Waltz has an upright habit and fast growth rate. It naturalizes easily, with its sprawling clumps of long, flat, strap-like foliage and showy blooms appearing year after year, possibly for decades in ideal conditions. Best planted in groups or masses, daffodils are versatile plants that work equally well in mixed beds, borders, and containers. Consider planting large sweeping drifts in open woodland areas, in masses under deciduous trees, and in smaller groupings in front of shrubs. In the garden, daffodils mix well with ground covers and other spring-blooming bulbs but can also be forced for indoor blooms in winter.
Narcissus Waltz, a cold hardyto Zone 3bulbous perennial, is easy to grow and maintain. It prefers areas with cool winters and warm, dry summers. The plant grows best in sunny to partly shady locations with rich, fertile, well-draining soil having a neutral to acidic pH. After flowers bloom, allow foliage to die back naturally and cut back once fully faded. Narcissus Waltz is deer and rabbit resistant.
