Papayadew's rind is not only smooth and thin making it great for slicing but it turns from mild green to a creamy yellow as the fruit matures, making it easy to tell when it is ripe. A wonderful hybrid honeydew melon that rates high on the sweetness scale. The aroma and flavor suggest a luscious tropical fruit. The melons ripen white a yellow-white skin and orange flesh. It's an easy, delicious fruit that makes a great treat or snack. Melons are versatile, easy-to-grow, vining plants, with compact varieties for small gardens and even some that will grow up space-saving trellises!
