Wave® Blue Hybrid Petunia has got the same central growth habit that makes 2002 winner Lavender so magnificent, plus the famous Wave get-up-and-grow vigor. This spreading petunia is just stunning in baskets, planters, window boxes, and the garden, where it spreads along the ground like crazy. A very rare and desirable color on a floriferous, weather-tough plant.

Petunia Wave has taken the gardening world by storm since its introduction a few years ago. Its spreading habit is just stunning, covering ground at the rate of several inches every single day, and trailing lots of colorful 2- to 2½-inch blooms as it goes. Wave® Blue Hybrid Petunia has the same incredible bloom and spread of the other Waves, coupled with a densely-branched habit about 5 to 7 inches tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. Try it in a window box or mixed bed with Misty Lilac or cotton-candy Pink.

Wave® Blue Hybrid Petunia is easy to grow from our convenient pelleted seed, which should be started indoors 5 to 6 weeks before transplant to the early-spring garden. Set out plants when all danger of frost is past. Wave will begin blooming 10 to 12 weeks after sowing. This seed comes as a "pellet". "Pelleted" seeds are small seeds that have been clay-coated to make them larger and more uniform in size and shape, making them easier to handle when planting.
