Description / Squill Bulbs
Pack of 2 Bulbs
Plant Squill in fall, and in spring, between late flowering tulips and perennials breaking dormancy, this squill will bloom in large conical clusters of up to 50 tiny, star-like florets, each exhibiting a color palette in shades of lavender, purple, and blue. It has long, fleshy leaves that are stiff and strappy, similar to a hyacinth.
Scilla is native to the Western Mediterranean region and grows best in similar warm, arid climates. In colder climates, the tender bulbs are best grown in containers and protected indoors in the fall. The plants stay dormant only a short time.
