Description / Bonide Systemic Rose & Flower Care
This fertilizer goes the extra mile, not only feeding your roses and other flowers for up to 8 weeks, but also protecting them from pests like aphids, borers, Japanese beetles, and thrips. The dual action of this systemic insecticide/fertilizer will keep those flowers happy, promoting more growth and bigger blooms.
This Bonide product contains a guaranteed analysis of 8% nitrogen, 12% phosphorus, and 4% potassium, as well as generous amounts of micronutrients. The active insecticide is 0.22% imidachloprid, a revolutionary compound that gets absorbed in plants' roots with the nutrients and protects the plant from the inside out for weeks, including everything from the roots to the new shoots of growth. The 0.22% imidacloprid mixture will not harm plants, and is safe to use around pets.
To use Bonide Systemic Rose and Flower Care, simply shake out the granules onto the ground, spreading them evenly around the plants' roots, then water thoroughly. Each 2-pound container contains enough to treat 8 shrubs, 16 roses, or 96 square feet of flowerbed, and the fertilizer and pesticide both last for up to 8 weeks, encouraging healthy growth and big, beautiful blooms.
This formula kills or controls numerous pest species, including adelgids, aphids, black vine weevil larvae, roundheaded borers, flatheaded borers, Japanese beetles, lacebugs, leaf beetles, leafhoppers, leafminers, mealy bugs, pine tip moth larvae, psylids, royal palm bugs, sawfly larvae, scales (armored and soft), thrips, and whiteflies.
