Description / Picea 'Pendula'
Pendula is a highly attractive tree that certainly lives up to its name. The branches swing so low that they're almost parallel with the trunk! Each branch is positively packed with dense dusky green needles, giving the entire tree a very soft elegant look. The tall narrow habit is quite striking and definitely commands attention from onlookers near and far. It is noted for its rapid growth can reach heights up to 20 to 30 feet! The primary branches are upturned slightly while secondary branches hang loosely as the tree matures. Branches are filled with spirally-arranged, four-sided, needle-like, dark green leaves. This dapper deer-resistant tree is easy to grow and is a great choice your landscape. This lovely evergreen is easy to care for and is great for privacy and ornamental interest in your garden!
