Diamond Mine corn produces a tall and sturdy plant, standing 74 inches high, with a nice 30-inch ear height. The 8-inch ears have a 1.8-inch diameter and 16 to 18 rows of glossy white kernels. The ears have excellent tip fill and husk protection.
Plant Diamond Mine corn in a location with full sun and fertile, freely draining soil. Isolate QuadSweets from other supersweet corn varieties, either by spacing (with a minimum of 660 feet between them), or by time (planting 2 to 3 weeks earlier or later).

Protect young plants with row covers if temperatures are expected to dip below 50°F. Mulch corn plants to moderate soil temperature, maintain soil moisture, and control weeds.
