The only double-flowered impatiens from seed, Athena is a marvel in container and bed. This gorgeous fancy-flowered variety offers big semi-double (with occasional single, of course) blooms over an extended season. Dense and spreading, this plant is adaptable for hanging baskets, combo planters, and ground cover garden coverage. A must-have for the partly shaded garden.

This is a formula mix, meaning that it was blended with an equal number of seeds of each color. You get all 7 magnificent Athenas:

These flowers reach 1½ inches wide and are very long-lasting, keeping their color beautifully in summer's heat and humidity. They simply cover these spreading plants, which reach 10 to 12 inches high and can reach 16 inches wide. Athena out blooms all others, extending your impatiens season by several weeks.

Known as carnation-flowered or fancy-flowered Impatiens for its rosebud-shaped buds and petal-packed blooms, Athena is in a class by itself.
