Indeterminate

A mouthwatering giant red tomato, Beefmaster routinely wins the size award at county fairs and contests. This massive beefsteak-type is not only huge but very heavy-bearing, with stunning yields over a long season on indeterminate vines.

How big is Beefmaster? Well, plan on many 1-pound tomatoes, and some as large as 1½ pounds. Despite all their bulk, they are also savory and delicious, with a good solids-to-gel ratio and intense flavor.

A bigger-than-life variety you will admire and enjoy, this plant is resistant to verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, and root-knot nematodes.

Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Transplant into the garden spaced 2 to 2½ feet apart.

This is the first year we tried this type of tomato and WOW, they are big and tasty!!! Like the other reviewer said, one slice and your sandwich is complete. This plant is my wife’s favorite and she cooks for a living. We are very impressed and will grow again. Many 1+pound tomatoes harvested this year. No disease.

For many years I decided to not grow Beefmaster because some years is less productive than others but when you cut a Beefmaster the aromas are inebriant and when you slice it it fills a sandwich with a slice and the flavor is unbelievably delicious, extremely balanced. i will grow BeeMaster as long I will do gardening, no other matches it's flavor for me. LOVE FOR MANY YEARS THIS TOMATO 0 people found this helpful

I HAVE BEEN GROWING BEEFMASTER FOR MANY MANY YEARS, IT IS ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITES. IT TAKES SOME TIME TO RIPEN BUT WHEN IT HAPPENS THE TOMATO BURSTS WITH OLD FASHIONED TOMATO FLAVOR, WORTH THE LITTLE EXTRA WAITING. I LOVE ALSO THE SEEDS FROM PARK, ALWAYS GERMINATING AND THEN BEAUTIFUL PLANTS. FRANCESCO MARTIRADONNA

Best tasting 0 people found this helpful

Last summer I had around 20 varieties in my garden. These were the best tasting. Beefmaster, big boy, pink brandywine and purple cherokee. The heirlooms were the first to die the hybrids produced until autumn. The Beefmasters I got looked more like the big beef. On YouTube big beefs look like the picture shown for beefmaster so I think parks got those pictures reversed.
