Description / Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens Seeds

Florific® is the best New Guinea Impatiens for your shady beds, edging, and containers. Better-branched and more dense than most others, Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens set big blooms right above the foliage, giving you the most color per square inch. And it's 100% downy mildew resistant, never needs pinching during the growth process, and Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens keep the blooms coming all the way through fall in mild and warm climates.

Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens come early and stay late, going from seed to bloom in just 3 to 4 months. Strongly branched and heavily budded, they cover ground beautifully, with a tight habit just 8 to 12 inches high and 10 to 12 inches wide. Perfect for a long line of color outlining the shade bed, edging a garden path, or filling a large area.

And the blooms on Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens are very showy, with large, overlapping petals that face upward above dark green foliage. They begin opening in early summer from an early sowing, and continue all season and into fall. In warm climates, they continue right up until frost.

Florific® Violet New Guinea Impatiens offer neon-bright magenta-purple blooms that complement the other colors in this series. And the size of every Florific® plant is uniform across the series, so you can design a lovely mixed planting or alternate colors in a ribbon across the shade garden. Have fun designing with this flower-filled, easy-to-grow Impatiens.

I was very disappointed with this seed packet. After following the instructions only 2 sprouted and they aren’t growing after three weeks. I have started seeds for many years and this is a first fail for me. Geraniums and petunias I started at the same time are growing great!

Beautiful Flowers, but..... 1 people found this helpful

I've purchased 8 packs of these seeds over the past 2 years from Parks. Note that I'm an experienced gardener and understand the different germination methods and temperature requirements. The flowers are STUNNING, but the germination rate is abysmal, in the range of 8%. I've tried different techniques but the germination is not great. Of the 120 seeds I have planted, I have yielded only 10 plants. Maybe 8% is the normal rate, but I don't think so. When I grow my Tidal Wave Petunias, I'm getting a 95% germination rate. Hope someone from Park's answers this review.
