Cucumber beats the comparison varieties with more appealing fruit, earlier maturity and exceptional eating quality. Grow Green Light cucumbers on stakes or poles for a productive, easy-to-harvest vertical garden or on the ground for a sprawling cucumber wonderland. This plant will yield 40 or more spineless fruits per plant.
Picking the fruits when they're small, between 3 to 4 inches long, rewards you with delicious, fresh tasting, crisp cucumbers, even without peeling.

Love this little cucumber 0 people found this helpfulBought several plants at the Earl May Store in Lincoln ne and planted them in pots on my patio. Excellent taste. They have grown so high on the trellis that my neighbor who is 6 feet tall has to come get the high ones. And he gets to keep them. How can I get some seeds in case I can not find them next year?

Totally Surprised at the Yield 2 people found this helpfulThese yield so many small cucumbers! If you don't mind picking all the time, then these are great. They get bitter or metallic after 4 1/2 inches, so pick them small. They are great for fresh eating and for pickling. I will absolutely grow these again.

Quick, Crispy and Delicious 1 people found this helpfulGood things really do come in little packages! I harvested the first Green Light cuke 38 days after planting. The next day I harvested three more, and one of them was a twin-fused fruit that cucumus sativus sometimes produces. The cukes are crispy right off the vine. They have great flavor and no bitterness whether peeled or unpeeled. This performer is our new garden must-have. (I have pictures, if you want. Let me know if you do.)
