Description / Heuchera Primo® 'Wild Rose'

If flowers are the only sources of color in your garden you're denying yourself the wonders of foliage interest like this spectacular heuchera. A Proven Winners® variety, 'Wild Rose' makes you sit up and take notice with its large, ruby purple leaves that feature smoky gray veins for added contrast. While this dramatic shade lover look perfect in all seasons, its beauty and color is especially stunning in the starkness of winter. To accompany its striking foliage display in midsummer this attractive native plant sends up slender wands of rosy flowers which are soon crowed by butterflies and hummingbirds alike although the deer will generally leave it alone. 'Wild Rose' is a compact and hardy plant that is salt tolerant, deer resistant and low maintenance overall. Add to borders and planters and watch as it fills your landscape with its unique brand of magic.

AMAZING QUALITY UPON ARRIVAL! 1 people found this helpful

    Rating

I am hesitant in ordering live plants offline due to poor quality in the past from different vendors. This arrived in PERFECT condition! (long with another live plant in perfect condition) I literally had to feel the leaves to make sure it was real because it looked like one of those fake cloth plants! If there was any type of 'complaint', it was how soon the plant arrived. I live in zone 6A and the website states it will ship according to your zone. Delivery arrived on April 1st when it was still very cold out. Our end freeze date isn't until the end of April. I am still giving 5 stars though as this is really stretching for this comment. The plant was not rootbound, and I was able to plant it in another container that has space until I feel it is safe to plant in the ground. Again, that doesn't really bother me, but wanted to post if someone else doesn't have the means to hang on or plant in a bigger pot. I have only ever ordered seeds and bulbs online here, I will be ordering live plants again soon when a few of my favorites come back in stock! Thanks ParkSeed for your quality!
