Description / 'Cat's Pajamas' Catmint

Glowing like a blue flame in the summer sun, this perennial is truly the cat's meow! Great news for arid gardens, Nepeta (catmint) was built to endure summer's worst tendencies. No matter what the season throws at 'Cat's Pajamas' Catmint—extreme heat or drought—this sun-loving classic stays colorfast and lovely all summer long. This variety looks gorgeous planted in mass, tucked in borders, and bursting out of containers.

As if its beauty and vigor weren't enough of a draw, 'Cat's Pajamas' Catmint is attractive not only to appreciative horticulturalists but to every manner of bee, butterfly and hummingbird as well. The green foliage releases a scent that we find pleasant but that deer despise so you don't have to worry about it being nibbled by these common pests. 'Cat's Pajamas' Catmint is easy to grow, easier to love, and a must have for just about any avid gardener.

Didn't survive in original pot! 5 people found this helpful

I bought this plant TWICE on two separate occasions. Neither survived long enough to repot. They both began withering within days of receiving them and turned totally brown in weeks.

Unacceptable delivered plant condition 3 people found this helpful

    Rating

Can't truly rate the plant, yet, but I can rate the condition it arrived i ----VERY POOR . Ordred @ plants at the pricey cost of $17.95 and did NOT get what I expected. One plant was 1/3 dead and brown and is just recovering, now, a few weeks after delivery. The second plant arrived MOSTLY BROWN and WITHERED, and still not sure that it will survive ( even though it is beginning to get new leaves, now). If the standard SLOW delivery time is TOO SLOW to provide a healthy plant in good condition, it should be noted in the delivery selections. The whole shipping process is UNACCEPTABLE and rates an F, in my book. This experience would keep me from making any future LIVE PLANT orders'
