Pop-Net 1 Screen Mesh Plant Protector

Description / Pop-Net 1 Screen Mesh Plant Protector
Protect your valuable plants in seconds with this amazing pop-up structure. Pop-Net instantly creates an enclosed space in which to grow your vegetables, fruits, and just-transplanted seedlings. It's the 24-hour protection you've been looking for, without all the fuss about building a tent.
This mesh screening lets in sunlight, air, and water, but excludes birds and nibbling animals. The ⅛-inch mesh is dense enough to keep out even flying pests, yet your plants won't miss an iota of rainfall, sunlight, or water.
Pop-Net fastens securely in the soil on all 4 corners. Sturdy loops hold 6-inch stakes (included) that sink deep into the ground to keep the net from blowing away even in strong winds. And it assembles and disassembles in seconds, enabling you to move it around as you plant out new crops all season long.
If you have a vegetable patch, raised bed, or any portion of the garden vulnerable to trampling or nibbling, you've simply got to get Pop-Net.

Pop-Net mesh garden protector 0 people found this helpfulBought two for my vegetable garden. We have lots of rabbits and this should work fine. My only reservation is these are more suited for a raised bed. I placed mine on the ground but found that spiking them down was kind of a juggling act compounded by the small area which I planted. I eventually added weights to the loops at each corner initially meant for the spikes. Just lift and remove. No bending. Senior citizens like myself hope this lift and remove works (fingers crossed). Other than that easy to open, easy to close.

Easy Protection 0 people found this helpfulEasy to install, just unwrap and it pops open. It doesn't fit ALL my boxes, but it still protects my plants from my chickens. I wish they were taller and bigger.

Surprisingly Versatile 0 people found this helpfulI purchased this thinking I would use it to keep the squash vine borers off the summer squash plants. When it arrived, I had just potted up my fall tomatoes from seed plugs and needed to keep them outside, but I didnt have a protected spot for them. Voila, I used binder clips to secure it to my prop table and it provided just the right amount of shade and protection for the seedlings, even through our extremely hot east Texas July.

Works well 0 people found this helpfulDid a good job stopping the rabbits from eating the pea plants. The problem I am having is that it collapses in a stiff wind. I wish it was designed with wood sticks to go into each corner so it will not fold into itself. Maybe I will try staking it myself!

Love it 0 people found this helpfulI love this protector. It's going to save my community garden plants. The rats have been rampaging, and this is an easy fix.

Good for shade but not as a bug barrier 1 people found this helpfulI bought two of these to keep borers from laying eggs on my baby squash plants. Bugs got in. The angled corners have netting that is shorter than on the four sides. You would have to bury the sides and use extra earth staples to make an impenetrable barrier. Good for shading plants.

Excellent strawberry saver 0 people found this helpfulWe loved this the minute we opened the package. It does everything the description says it will, The relief that in just seconds our strawberries were safe from the foraging squirrels. What a pleasure. Everyday we look at it and say what a great way to garden!

Pop-Net for garden 0 people found this helpfulI’ve bought 2 of these and they work great. I would buy another, but the fact that they use a lot of styrofoam peanuts to ship it, has kept me from another purchase.

It saved my leafy greens! 0 people found this helpfulIt keeps rabbits, deer and groundhogs out, especially if sprayed with repellent sprays. It keeps bugs out as well. No more spraying Bt to kill cabbage butterfly caterpillars. The problem is it’s not quite tall enough for broccoli/cauliflower, Dino kale and Swiss chard. I wish they’d come out with a perfect cube like it shows in the picture: 3’4” on all sides. Be cautious about the picture, read the dimensions!!!

Awesome Product to Keep the Critters Out 0 people found this helpfulI was skeptical about this product but decided to give it a go. Shocked to see that it works so well. I have it on my 4' x 4' raised bed and it is nicely protecting my lettuces, tomatoes and cucumbers. The stakes provided do the trick of keeping it in the ground. TIP: Make sure that you leave 4 inches on all sides of the raised bed to place the stakes and so that the screen fits properly.

Fits my 3 X 3 raised bed 1 people found this helpfulThe Pop-Net Screen Mesh opened and installed in seconds. Although it's 4 inches wider than my 3 X 3 raised bed, it's flexible enough to fit inside securely. It lifts easily to work the bed and re-installs without trouble. Unlike fabric row covers, I can see my plants through the net without lifting it. I haven't had any trouble with critters eating my chard or laying eggs on my dill since I installed the pop-net. I would like to have a taller one also.
