Slightly disappointed 4 people found this helpfulI bought these seeds along with several other types of petunias. All of the others grew great. These only had a 50% success rate of germination. Of those only about 50 percent survive long enough to transplant. Those that survived are beautiful however the blooms are all less than an inch. Not 1 1/2 to 2 inches like the description. I used the same growing medium, fertilizer, lights, etc as the other. These just didn’t fare as well

Purple tie Dye 1 people found this helpfulThese were beautiful and strikingly dark purple with a bit of white. They did take longer to germinate and grow than my other varieties of petunias. I almost gave up on them. Glad I didn't because they are a show stopper. I ordered them from another seed company and the slow germination was the same with the other company. I put these in containers and wow. Will order again.

The dye petunias 0 people found this helpfulI ordered the shock wave tie dye petunia plants. What I received is a dozen purple petunias… bearing no resemblance to the plants I ordered. Will not be ordering plants from Burpee's in the future.

Not the usual Park quality 0 people found this helpfulNormally Park supplies very high quality seeds. These were the weakest germinating that I've ever received. I grew them in the same place as the Burgundy Velour, which did great. I managed to get only 7 of the 12 to actually grow and those were badly stunted. On top of everything else, all but one has produced small purple flowers with no white. I've been growing from seed for over 30 years and I know how to grow petunias. This year I'm also growing a Silver Wave and Blue Denim cross that I hybridized last year.

Low gerimination 0 people found this helpfulStarted these and the burgundy stars with 6 other types of wave petunias in the same tray. The other 6 varieties had near 100% germ, these two had 40% and 30% germ rates, rather disappointed with the results

Disappointed 0 people found this helpfulAt first I was excited because I had near 100% germination, however all the blooms from all ten plants are solid purple. I will have to give all these away because they will not work for my color scheme. Too bad, because otherwise they are very healthy.

Tie dye tiny purple flowers 0 people found this helpfulThis plant starts off with tiny purple petunia flowers they if it is in a lot of sun the flowers grow in with white and purple stripes -It is a smaller plant and is not as wavy as some other varieties but is nice for hanging baskets or in pots because it wont take over the other plants planted along side.

Not two toned color like picture 0 people found this helpfulOrdered from Park Seed and I grew these from seed -starting them in February indoors, they are now outdoors blooming -I have 4 plants and all are blooming ONLY purple very disappointing - : (
