Vernique® 'Shining Sea' Speedwell produces rounded spikes of lavender blue flowers that rise above refined green foliage from late spring into midsummer. The colorful flower spikes create strong vertical interest while adding cool tones to borders, containers, and rock gardens. Its compact habit makes it especially useful in smaller spaces where long lasting color is desired.
This medium sized speedwell continues blooming through the summer, attracting butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout the season. Its reliable flowering habit and compact form make it an excellent choice for mass plantings, mixed borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. The rich flower color pairs beautifully with ornamental grasses and sun loving perennials.
