Wyoming Planting Zones & Schedule

Wyoming’s USDA growing zones range from Zone 3b to Zone 6a. Though some parts of the state fall in more extreme zones (1b and 2a), most of the state ranges from Zone 3b to 5a where you can grow cold-hardy crops like blueberries, broccoli, spinach, and root vegetables.

The warmest parts of Wyoming are found in the southwest in Lincoln, Uinta, and Sweetwater Counties. Here in Zones 5b and 6a, you can grow warm-season crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.
