Caladium 'Florida Calypso' Bulbs

Caladium Florida Calypso is a fancy leaf caladium grown for large, heart shaped leaves packed with color. Each leaf features a magenta pink center, bold red veins, green margins, and splashes of white, creating a vivid, variegated display. Plants grow about 16 to 24 inches tall and hold their colorful foliage from summer until frost. This pack includes 5 caladium bulbs.

Florida Calypso is an excellent way to bring bright color to shaded landscapes, where flowering plants can be harder to grow. Plant it in shady beds and borders, group several in containers on a shaded porch or patio, or grow it indoors as a houseplant. The pink, red, green, and white leaves combine well with plain green foliage, letting the caladium's pattern take center stage.

Plant tubers after all danger of frost has passed, once the soil reaches at least 65 degrees F. Warm soil is key to strong growth, so wait for consistent warmth before planting. Grow in partial shade to full shade. In areas with frost, lift tubers after the first killing frost and store them until the next planting season. With multicolored leaves that last from summer to frost, Florida Calypso offers months of color in shady spots.
