This gorgeous dark pink, light purple flower is one of the most stunning cut flowers. Great for centerpieces, arrangements, or just a glowing look in the garden. Minimal care and a great houseplant! Grows in zones 4-6 for annual and zones 7-11 for all year.
Le Chique thrives in sunny or shady beds in the summer garden, as well as in containers of all kinds. In all but tropical areas, the bulbs should be dug up in fall and stored indoors for replanting in spring (or the container moved to a frost-free area, such as indoors near a bright window). Every few years, when the flowering diminishes, dig up the bulb in early fall and divide it into new plants. Feed heavily during the growth period for even bigger, better blooms! Confusing description 0 people found this helpfulZone 11 is in the tropics, where I live. So the description contradicts itself by saying it’s good to grow in zones 4-11 but later says not in the tropics?
