Set about with orange blooms like giant flares, Tropicanna® Canna Lily is a spectacular accent for patio and poolside. A favorite of modern garden designers, this popular splash of color is the cultivar that put cannas back on the map.

This tropical just thrives in the heat, so expect it to be the star of the garden when less tolerant plants have slumped from exhaustion. Tropicanna® is stunning enough that just one plant makes a lovely thriller in mixed containers or beds, but the stately flower stalks also work beautifully in rows: use them liberally along exposed paths and walkways to fill your yard with color.

Plant Tropicanna® Canna Lily in full sun in a soil rich with plenty of organic material, and water it frequently. It will reward you with exceptional vigor and the most stunning foliage you will ever see. This canna will naturalize to fill the area, and every few years should be divided, providing you more bulbs to spread across the garden. Deadheading is recommended, and it will help the blazing orange blooms come on faster.

    I recently got my order for this canna bulb. The thing arrived the most dried up shriveled bulb I have ever rec'd. from anyone. T ones I got from Hoen Canna Farm in Oklahoma were less expensive and it was a HUGE chunk of root with severeal large fat eyes. Needless to say I will never order anything from these people again.

    Planted a couple weeks ago and there’s no sign of growth yet. It’s plenty warm in FL now so I expected to some sign of life within a few days. I still have some hope…..we’ll see.

    Received two bulbs; one didn't amount to anything. Dead on arrival, no leaves, no growth after a few months. The second bulb has been planted for several months as per the information provided. A few leaves but no blossoms. Sadly, much ado about nothing. Too bad. Was charged on April 14 of this year.

    Bulb was dried out, no sign of life when delivered but I planted anyway for 3 weeks…still no life signs. Very disappointed & it was expensive! Disappointed in Park Seed!

    The bulbs were dried up and pathetic. Very disappointed and surprised that Park Seed would have such an inferior product .I learned my lesson , stick to only zinnia seeds from Park Seed.

    I planted it according to the directions and it didn't grow. The bulb didn't look good when I got it, so I did have my doubts. I have grown many canna over the years, so I do know how to grow them...

    The package was very late and very dry. It was intended to be a birthday gift. The person I sent them to put them in water and then in moist soil, but no signs of life. I tried to correspond with you by e-mail, but you system would not allow connection. Please send refund or 3 more bulbs

    I ordered two of these bulbs..One was really small but did have one eye so hopefully? The second one was tiny tiny dry and the bulb itself was mushy.. I have called every day but I get a recorded message they are closed.. several emails but no reply.. These bulbs were expensive and I am very disappointed with Park seed..Very poor quality

    I bought two of these beauties.. one was viable size tho nothing special but it did have one eye.. the second one was shriveled and mushy also tiny tiny.. I stuck it in the ground anyway tho I don’t see it ever producing leaves… disappointing that I paid so much for these rhizomes and they are not top quality..

    I bought two of these bulbs and planted one each in two huge pots with new organic rich soil. Placed them 5 feet apart from each other in a sunny location and watered every few days last spring. Got absolutely nothing from one pot while the other finally came up early summer. However, that one never bloomed and only got 12 inches high at best. Yes, the leaves were colorful but it was a very small plant and a very large pot. Hoping for better luck this year with that one bulb. It’ll be April in a few days and I see nothing as yet.

    Planted (2) of these for the colorful addition they would add to the yard... Nothing grew... Park Seed is going to replace the bulbs at no cost, so hopefully the replacements will fare better..,. I'll update my review later..

    I planted the bulb and it is not growing. It is dead. I have other cannas in my yard so I know it's nothing I am doing. The bulb looked dead when I received it. I planted it anyway. I am so disappointed.
