This garlic variety is called Elephant for a reason. These cloves are extremely large. They have a mild flavor and prefer a long growing season. If you plant this Elephant Garlic in the fall, harvest it in late spring or early summer, if you plant in the spring, harvest it in early summer. The average harvest is 3 to 4 cloves per bulb.
