Plant arrived, larger than expected. It did experience transplant shock, but has now settled in and is growing well

Sadly didn't survive shipping (or something like that) 0 people found this helpful

I've actually had really good luck with everything I've purchased from Park Seed but sadly this little guy didn't make it - it was very wet upon arrival which I was surprised by but thought that was a good thing but then just days out of the box it's started yellowing and I couldn't seem to do anything to help it out ( I contemplated re-potting immediately but thought with it already under some kind of stress that might make it worse) -- a tiny little portion of it tried its best to survive :) but it too finally just turned lemon yellow and shriveled up I really wanted to use this as a starter viola to grow and take starts from so I think I'll try some seeds this time. Not sure what went wrong with it and no bad feelers toward Park Seed -- still my go-to!

Unfortunately, this plant did not make it in our garden. I planted in a shady spot to have the best success in our northeast climate. I wish I had success with it, because the pictures looked beautiful. I did plant the astilbe in the same area and that is doing well.
